Three Arrested In Detroit For Murder

Detroit Police announce the arrests of Patrick Picket (DOB: 02/27/71), Shondell Dalton (DOB: 09/14/73), and Nigel Wright (DOB: 06-28-77) wanted for the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old man on December 29, 2007.  At around 2:25 a.m., the victim was sitting inside of a parked vehicle when suspects drove up and exited a 2006 Black Dodge Charger.  Suspects produced weapons and all fired several shots at the vehicle, striking the victim.  All suspects fled from the scene in the vehicle.  The victim died from his injuries on January 10, 2008.  

Picket was arrested in Toledo, Ohio, due to information investigators received from witnesses; Dalton was arrested at a Detroit Police faculty when he inquired why investigators were looking for him. (Arraignment today, 2/20/08, at 5:30pm); Wright was arrested by Detroit Police Officers during a traffic stop.  All arrests were without incident.   After a thorough investigation, the Wayne County Prosecutor signed warrants on all suspects for First degree Murder-Premeditated and additional charges.
