Third Suspect Arrested For Sexual AssaultToday, March 24, 2008, suspect Kenneth Richmond, 19, walked into the Western District and informed officers that he wanted to turn himself in on a criminal sexual conduct warrant that had been issued for his arrest. The warrant was verified and Richmond was arrested. The defendant was arraigned for 2 counts of CSC 3 (Criminal Sexual Conduct), and was remanded to Wayne Count Jail on a $50,000.00 cash bond; next exam date is April 1, 2008, 1:30pm.
Richmond was wanted as the third suspect in the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl on March 13, 2008. Suspects Andre Robinson, 37 and Aaron Robinson, 40, were arrested on March 18, 2008 and arraigned on CSC 1 (Criminal Sexual Conduct). Additional arrests and charges are expected in this ongoing investigation.
